Stephanie Cunningham, LCSW
Owner and Lead Clinician
Specializing in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health &
Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy with Kids and Families
Hi, I’m Stephanie (she/her). It’s nice to e-meet you! I’ve always been really passionate about supporting kids and the people who love them, so I decided to make it my career. I made it official when I graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008.

Experience and Certifications
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work exclusively with kids and families in various ways. Some of my roles have included in-home family therapy, intensive case management with homeless families, outpatient therapy in a Community Mental Health setting, and consulting with preschool teachers and staff on early childhood mental health.
In 2019, I obtained a certification in Infant-Parent and Early Childhood Mental Health, which had a profound impact on my work. Expanding my knowledge about how relational safety is at the heart of improving child and family functioning has been a game changer for me and my clients.
Other Fun Facts about Me
My other full time job is raising my own three kids (ages 8, 11, and 15) with my husband in North Redondo Beach. As an often tired mom and business owner, my favorite thing to do is sleep in when the rare opportunity presents itself. I also love to be outside with my family. I’m a novice surfer, sometimes avid hiker, and passionate writer and reader of poetry and prose.
My current fee is $225 per 50-55 minute session. Unfortunately I am not able to accommodate new clients at this time.

Dianne Preciado, AMFT, ATR
Dianne’s Art Therapy speciality offers a unique opportunity for kids and parents to access and share the depth of their inner world creatively, rather than verbally

Experience and Certifications
I am a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University. I have a background rooted in collaboration and trauma-informed care from my experience working in a community mental health agency and providing school-based therapy services to children and adolescents ages 5 -19, their families, and caregivers.
I am neuro-affirming in my approach and often lead from an attachment-based and relational centered framework. As a Provisional Art Therapist (ATR-P) I have received pre and post-education training in providing clinical art therapy and am currently in the process of fulfilling the requirements for the Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credential. Through compassion, curiosity, and creativity, I look forward to joining children and families in their therapeutic journey and growth.
Other Fun Facts about Me
Being born and raised in San Diego county, I had the privilege of growing up by the ocean and soaking up sunshine. I find spending time in nature to be very grounding in our fast-paced world.
My family is very important to me. Because of them, I deeply value a good long laugh, nourishing myself with delicious food, and I always have music playing at home (I love to dance!).
Ever since I got my first library as a child, I’ve developed a love for reading and writing, and I still get excited about children’s books. I believe that seeing the world through the eyes of a child is to be reminded of the magic all around us.
My current fee is $175 per 50-55 minute session. I have some availability for new clients. Contact me to set up a free 15 minute consultation call at dianne@kidsunfiltered.com.
